WHO SHOULD CONSIDER THIS?

            Full Time: This opportunity is open to anyone wishing to create a long-term career and earnings opportunity as it creates a business ownership in your area with other businesses (Spas and Salons).

            Part-Time: This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who wishes to start a business which will grow with their needs. Homemakers will find that they can start part-time and work those hours which fit their schedule. As children get older, the opportunity and earnings can be expanded as more time becomes available. This can remain a part-time position or expand to full-time as the children require less time or move on to college or the work force.

WHAT IS INVOLVED?

            POSITION: This is a sales position calling on salons and spas in your area with the express objective to obtain product stocking of ELON® Essentials products.

           INVESTMENT: Other than the purchase of a selling kit, there is never any investment in inventory. Cost of the kit depends on whether you are looking for a part-time or a full-time opportunity. The kit is created by you and starts at $10.             CUSTOMER: Calling on retail salon and spa establishments in your area. Selling to individuals may be done but is not encouraged. The reason for this: Your time is limited and the opportunity in salons and spas is vast. Sales in the retail outlet will grow and build over time and, thus, the opportunity for increased earnings. It is difficult to earn substantial income selling to individuals. Real earnings will come from increased demand via salons and spas.

            CUSTOMER BILL PAYMENTS: All this is handled directly by our company. There is no need for the individual to become involved in handling any money or doing any credit checks. Very clean and easy. Salons and spas prepay using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover or mailing a check to our offices.

 

            CUSTOMER PRODUCT SHIPMENTS: Again, all this is handled directly by the company. We ship all orders to salons and spas via UPS. For you this means No inventory, No investment, No lost time.
WHAT PRODUCTS ARE BEING SOLD?

            ELON® Essentials: All products listed on the web site. More important…we have been working over the past 4 years to develop a line of excellent hair care products. It has taken this long to develop, test, and package because we wanted to get it right. And we have. Everyone who has tested has raved about the products being introduced. We expect that the samples which representatives will provide and will be sent with orders will go a long way to expanding shelf space for our products.

WHAT WILL SELL THE PRODUCTS?

            ELON® Essentials are recommended by dermatologists and podiatrists across the country. Dermatologists and Podiatrists are sampled by us all across the country. These professionals will send patients to salons and spas which would not have been customers without the effort made in these offices.

            DISTRIBUTION: We expect that selling direct will also be a major advantage to salons and spas. The reason for this is both simple and complex. Currently, salons and spas are encountering something called “diversion”. This is where “salon only” products end up at chain retail outlets such as CVS, Wal-Mart, Target, etc. Salons and spas work hard to sell customers only to lose sales to such stores. Another problem is counterfeits. While we have all seen Gucci bags and Rolex watches being sold on the streets (knowing these are fakes), many do not realize that the same counterfeiting is going on in stores with fakes appearing even on store shelves. By selling direct to salons and spas, counterfeiting (and complaints by customers using counterfeits) are eliminated. Finally, there is something being reported called “blending”. This is where a distributor purchases good product from the manufacturer and also purchases counterfeits. They then pull some good product from a case and insert counterfeits so as to “blend” the case…some good product and some counterfeit is now sent to the salon. Again, by selling directly to the salon, blending is eliminated. The selling of product direct to the salon or spa is expected to be a major selling point for all the above reasons.

            SAMPLES: This is an industry which rarely sees samples. Coming from a pharmaceutical background Dartmouth/ ELON® Essentials is very used to sampling quite a bit. We fully expect to continue this with samples being provided to physicians, samples being distributed by sales reps such as yourself, and samples being sent to salons and spas with their orders.

            WEB SITE: Our web site is designed to allow patients coming from physician offices to check for a salon or spa in the area which carries our products. This is a big selling advantage for salons and spas as they will obtain patients they might not have every seen.

            With physicians, sampling, the web site, your efforts and the quality of the products, we expect to obtain some shelf space at many salons and spas. We then expect this space to grow over time…as will your sales.
WHAT IS THE COMPENSATION?

            COMPENSATION: This is worked as a percentage of sales based on orders received from your accounts. Earnings are provided within 30 days from the close of each month. (Information regarding the percentages will be provided to you as we approach the launch time in January 2006.)

AM I AN EMPLOYEE?

            NO. Everyone is an “Independent Contractor”. This means that you set your own hours, work schedule, etc. Your compensation is based solely on sales. You are not an employee and there are no benefits or workman’s compensation.

WHO GETS THE ACCOUNTS AND HOW IS THIS DECIDED?

            ACCOUNTS: Salons and spas are allocated simply by who obtains the first order from a salon or spa. To keep obtaining sales from these outlets, it is important that the representative continue to call on and service the account. Failure to do so will result in the account being turned over to another sales representative. All accounts require sales calls, education on our products and service. It is not a “one shot” sale.

            HOUSE ACCOUNTS: Accounts already with the company prior to the representatives appearance will be handed over to the representative once the representative has established themselves as a responsible, well managed and consistent representative. Since the account was already established, the earnings will be 75% of what a newly established account would be.

            ESTABLISHED ACCOUNTS WHERE A REPRESENTATIVE LEAVES: These accounts will be handled in exactly the same manner as House Accounts. Again, this is an excellent opportunity to build the representatives business who establishes themselves.

DO I HAVE TO ENCOURAGE OTHER PROPLE TO JOIN?

            ELON® Essentials does not require that you make any effort to encourage others to join. Some systems are built on the fact that you have to get others to join to make any income. Our system is designed so that the individual can build a successful business as an individual, as a family, or as a full fledged business. No selling of other individuals to join us is necessary or needed.
